An anthropologist changing the world of business and education

I grew up in the city of Varna in the 1990s and come from a family of journalists and entrepreneurs. My parents fought every day to survive and keep our business afloat in the difficult times of the past.
That is why I respect Bulgarian hard work and from a young age I understood the difficulties that every business owner or manager faces.
I graduated in anthropology over 12 years ago, fascinated by the science of man. I wanted to find effective methods to help people improve their standard of living. Over time, I realized that the best way to participate in solving problems and creating added value was by becoming part of socially significant business organizations.
I turned to the field of digital marketing and with ambition and solid foundations I became a digital consultant at Google Digital Garage. Within a year I consulted over 500 Bulgarian small, medium and large businesses on how to reach more customers through digital marketing.
A little later I became a national project manager in the largest Google project in Bulgaria. I started the digital transformation process at Postbank, I consulted on marketing strategy and digital presence for companies such as Societe General Bank, Bulgaria on Air TV, BNT, BNR, Billa and other leading businesses in Bulgaria. I have been a mentor in startup accelerators, including Raiffaisen Elevator Lab.

Following my successful management of the Google Bulgaria project, I received an offer to join the largest educational organization for digital skills in Bulgaria – SoftUni.
I have always believed that the cause of quality education will improve life in Bulgaria and my decision to join the SoftUni team was quick and easy. I took on the position of Director of Business Development and the challenge of being responsible for all strategic deals, corporate partnerships and career support for SoftUni’s leading students in the fields of digital marketing, programming and design.
For 2 years, I have established and built strategic partnerships with over 40 technology companies and businesses, including MasterCard, Postbank, Coca-Cola, SmartIT, Indeavr, Superhosting.bg, FXCM, Lidl, Billa, Motion Software, Scalefocus, Software Group, Klett Bulgaria and others.
I have had the opportunity to structure processes and implement marketing, branding, and employer projects with some of the largest employers in Bulgaria.
In 2020, I realized that I had reached the capacity of my position at Softuni and decided that it was time to move on to new challenges that could solve even more problems and change the lives of more people.
Thus, two projects were born: Marketing Agency Zahara Consult and Finance Academy. Through them, I was able to combine my passion for marketing and education.
Zahara Consult quickly became a leading marketing agency that helps businesses from different industries increase their recognition and increase their customers in a digital environment.
Based on my many years of experience with different businesses, I knew from day one what would set us apart from all other marketing agencies on the market: we go in and understand the processes and business logic of a given business and product. While the mainstream approach of agencies is “marketing on demand”, in which the same articles, ads, designs and messages are reused, our team goes to a deeper level.
Over time, in addition to marketing, we offered consultations on business processes for startup technology companies, business structure, market research and in-depth analyses accompanying the launch of new products and services worldwide.
Zahara Consult has become a trusted partner for businesses from all over the world. For the last 3 years, we have clients from Bulgaria, the USA, the UK, Thailand, France and Denmark.
We create marketing strategies and research, as well as carry out marketing activities for businesses from various industries. Over the years, we have worked with financial institutions and services, tourism companies and attractions, large manufacturers, technology companies, retail, jewelry sales, online stores and others. We have worked with the largest law firm in the US for personal bankruptcies.
We have helped 3 companies successfully enter the Romanian market and 4 to enter the UK.
We have conducted corporate marketing trainings for pharmaceutical companies, banks and food chains.
We have built a professional and motivated team that takes each project to heart. This allows us to offer all marketing solutions for businesses and follow successful and tested marketing strategies.
I myself have given over 100 interviews in the last 3 years on topics related to entrepreneurship, exports, marketing, and finance.
As a participant in a product company (Finance Academy), I fully understand the challenges that marketing managers, business owners, and investors face.
Over time, I have managed to build holistic approaches to marketing that focus on results and problem solving while building long-term brand positioning. The very fact that Finance Academy has become a market leader in its segment in just 3 years proves that our approaches work.
We know how to analyze market needs, digital assets, and how to turn this data into a strategy with specific steps and execution. Our team is data-driven in that slightly boring, but very effective way.
It is no coincidence that over the years we have trained over 10,000 people in marketing and business through our consultations at Google, the lectures we give at SoftUni Digital, and Finance Academy.
Outside of my professional life, I am an ordinary person who has developed healthy habits over time. Years ago, I adopted a dog, who has become my best friend. I love traveling, trying new and delicious places to eat, and I love new technologies. I exercise regularly and try to meditate often, because I believe that life and business are a marathon, not a sprint.
In project management, I follow Ray Dalio’s concept of ideological meritocracy and try to make all colleagues feel at home and develop to the fullest in our teams.
My view of business is defined as follows: We are here for the endless game of making others better, richer, and more successful. We achieve this through specific marketing channels and tools.

Over the years, I have worked with global businesses that have over 25 billion leva in annual revenue. I have managed a digital marketing and training project for the largest company in the world – Google in Bulgaria.
I have trained over 20,000 people on various aspects of business, marketing and financial management. All this experience is structured and transferred effectively to the Zahara marketing agency team, thus helping our clients to be market leaders and increase their revenues.
In 2023, our Bulgarian clients reached sales of 26 million! Our global clients reached over 13.7 billion dollars in revenue. Yes, the numbers are impressive and I am proud that our team works with so many companies of different sizes, goals and capabilities.
However, for us, it remains a priority to help small, medium and large Bulgarian businesses reach new customers and new markets. We started from Bulgaria and our mission remains to develop Bulgarian business at the highest level.
A key aspect of Zahara’s success is our approach, which is based on data and real business experience. Unfortunately, among many marketing agencies, the idea is widespread that advertising should be creative regardless of the end results.
